Red-y or Not, Here I Come2:09 PM

It's been a long while since I last posted on here. A bit too long...
But when life gets in the way in the most beautiful and most distracting ways, you can't help but to put things on hold as you relish these rare moments in life...
Like the rare moments you'll see me wearing this hat IRL. I've featured it before on this blog before, and thought it matched perfectly with this Uniqlo turtleneck midi dress, making its cat-astrophic comeback appearance (before seen here). I rarely wear midi dresses because they shorten my petite stature, so cinching it at the waist with my big, chunky McQueen belt was an absolute must. Which leads to one of my biggest and most favorite styling tip:
E U N I Q U E S T Y L E T I P :
Whenever a piece of clothing makes you look bulky, shapeless, or is just too big for you, belt it at the waist for a figure-flattering silhouette
Accentuating your best assets or even faking it to create a more flattering silhouette is what fashion is all about! It's about creating a confident version of yourself, and is not about whether you can pull of a certain look or not based on your preconceptions. It's proven that when you feel good in the clothes you're wearing, your looks and overall appearance follow suit. It's about that swagger you bring with the clothes, not the other way around. You can be "swagged out" in all the best designer shit, but when you don't feel good about yourself wearing it or you think it doesn't accentuate your best asset (aka YOU), there's no amount of "swag" that can help.
Confidence is the best accessory you can wear with any outfit, so if anyone tries to tell you otherwise, flip them your favorite finger and say,
"Red-y or not..."
