Lost in the Desert (Joshua Tree Pt. 2)

11:31 AM

Lost, but not completely. The openness of this glass house made me feel naked within the desert and embedded me within its vast, sandy landscape. There were so many times I asked myself, "Where am I? Where can I get some effin' service around here? How will anyone contact me?!"

This desert house had no cell reception, wifi, or even a straight solid road. I was lost to the rest of the world. Untraceable, off-grid, but not completely vanished. Despite its initial frustrations, it felt nice to be left astray in the deserted wild with the golden sun, which set my mane ablaze revealing its true colors. The way the sun set in this house was unreal. These windowpanes with its linear lines created stunning effects and shadows that was all too transient and breathtaking.

In a place where I felt lost to the rest of the world, I found an inner sense of peace, a knack for adventure, and a new-new found love for this beautiful dress.
