That Fleeting Downtown Sparkle

Glistening buildings, moving sunset shadows, and the noise of the city breathing reminds me
that there's really no place like home.

It's odd to know that just five years ago, DTLA was seen as a dangerous area because of the infamous Skid Row neighborhood (see what I did there?). Now, DTLA has prospered to a magnificent city that's constantly bustling, eunique and refreshingly alive.

This city reminds me of how fleeting life can be. From the rapid pace of life to that fleeting moment when the sun's rays reflect off of mirror-like window panes, this city makes me feel like I'm standing still as the world continues on without me. Then I take a deep breath and relish this moment, where everything feels as if it'll vanish past my fingertips like fine sand. In a span of mere five minutes, shadows move and so do the reflected light off of skyscrapers, disappearing until the next day. As the world bustles, I remain still to observe and savor the transitory nature that is this city and that is live.
C'est la vie.

 Thanks for stopping by!

Do what makes you EUNIQUE!
